Lincolnshire 5th January – 7th January, 1953 On this short trip to North Lincolnshire, the Haxey Hood event was recorded along with talk about it by Rowland Whitehead.			Lincolnshire and Yorkshire 16th March – 10th April, 1953 Recordings of performers and events in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire include the Plough Jag play at Barrow-on-Humber, James Fussey, Luke and Bill Stanley, Mary Taylor, Sam Fawcett, Billy Pennock and the Loftus sword dancers.
Sussex 14th May – 17th May, 1953 William Scarlett and Mrs Penfold were recorded on this short trip to Wick and Burgess Hill in Sussex.			Northern Ireland 23rd July – 2nd September, 1953 On this trip around most counties of Northern Ireland Peter Kennedy was accompanied by Sean O’Boyle. Among the performers recorded are Frank and Francis McPeake, Paddy McCluskey, Michael Gallagher, Brigid and Paddy Tunney, John Doherty, Annie Meehan, Sheila Gallagher and Neil Boyle.
East Anglia 9th October – 11th October, 1953 Some of the performers recorded on this short trip to Norfolk and Suffolk are Cyril Poacher, Jack French and Bob Scarce (in the Ship Inn at Blaxhall, Suffolk), Harry Cox, Alec Bloomfield and Harry List.
