Northern Scotland and Orkneys

15th June – 2nd August, 1955

On this trip Peter Kennedy collaborated with Hamish Henderson, recording in the Orkney Islands, Aberdeenshire, Caithness, Sutherland and Perthshire. He recorded the Stewarts in Fetterangus and New Pitsligo, Ethel and John Findlater, the Garson Trio, Peter Pratt, Ronald Aim and Annie Patterson among many others. David Peace was also recorded talking about the ‘Kirkwall Ba’ Game’.
